Kirk Akina, Western Regional Sales Manager
Kirk, a.k.a. Capt. Kirk, was born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu (Hawaii) and is now residing in Southern California. He has been involved in the Food Business for over 17 years in various arenas (Broker, Distributor & Manufacturer). He represents Rhythm Superfoods as the Western Regional Sales Manager, also covering Chicago, Denver and Hawaii Markets. Kirk leads an active lifestyle. He enjoys working out, scuba and free diving, and surfing.

Sarah Caddell, Marketing Director
Sarah joined the Rhythm team with over 7 years of consumer products marketing experience from Nike Inc and Adao Global. Those experiences took her from Austin to Portland to Amsterdam to Switzerland. Upon meeting the team at Rhythm and learning about their desire to bring healthy snacks to the forefront, she knew this was the team for her. During her 4 years at UT, she fell in love with everything Austin (the food! the music! the people!) and decided this is where she wanted to stay. When not working, Sarah enjoys running, hiking with friends, seeing live music, eating amazing foods, traveling, and writing in third person.

Clayton Christopher, Co-Founder & Board Member
Clayton Christopher is no first timer when it comes to taking amazing brands to the next level. As Founder and Former CEO of Sweet Leaf Beverage Company, Clayton knows potential when he sees it, and that was exactly what he saw in Rhythm Superfoods upon first learning about the company's mission and products. Clayton adds years of experience to the team and has always been an endorser of healthy and active living (something evident in his interest in competitive cycling). As an active member of the Austin community, he can be found speaking regularly at universities and serves on the board of directors for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas. He loves to travel and even spent eight months riding and camping through eastern and western Europe and the Middle East.

Becky Conces, Operations Director
Born in Battle Creek, Michigan (home of such companies as Kellogg's and Post), Becky, a.k.a. Miss Becks, knew from a young age that food manufacturing was in her future. Her fate was sealed when she landed a job during college working in the W.K. Kellogg Institute for Food and Nutrition Research. It was love at first bite! She eagerly obtained a degree in Dietetics and has been working in food manufacturing ever since. Becky finally found her "rhythm" in March of 2011 and has enjoyed working and sharing her wide variety of experience with the Rhythm Superfoods team. When she isn't hard at work, you can find Becky hiking the "Hill of Life" with her blue heelers, eating at Guero's on South Congress or having a Mexican Martini at Trudy's! Delicious!

Calvin Daily, VP of Sales
Calvin grew up in a rural Midwest community with his 10 brothers and sisters. Having older brothers and sisters work at Frontier Natural Products in his youth gave him a great introduction to the Organic and Natural Foods world. Calvin has had the pleasure of working in the Sales Departments of such leading Organic and Natural Food Companies as Frontier Natural Products Cooperative, UNFI, Presence Marketing, and Organic Valley Cooperative. When he is not spending time with his beautiful wife, 2 sons, and 2 dogs, he patiently waits for the San Diego Chargers to win their first Super Bowl.

Scott Jensen, Co-Founder/President & CEO
Scott's love for food comes from his experience as former CEO and Co-Founder of Austin's own Stubb's BBQ. The lessons he learned there are serving him well in his newest role as CEO and Co-Founder of Rhythm Superfoods. Scott, a.k.a. Scotty J, is not only the business behind the brand but is also a firm believer and customer who has personally learned the health benefits of enjoying the company's products and lifestyle. A food connoisseur at heart, Scott loves to try new restaurants in his spare time (the little he has) and dreams to one day see Rhythm Superfoods products in every mainstream supermarket in the country.

Jeff Tusa, CFO
Jeff joined Rhythm as Chief Financial Officer in 2012 and is responsible for managing all financial aspects of the company. He brings over ten years of operating, investing, and financial experience with consumer-oriented companies to Rhythm. Previous positions to Rhythm include Hunt Private Equity Group, a private equity affiliate of the Ray L. Hunt family, and Stephens Inc.’s investment banking group. Jeff began his career with PwC. Jeff was drawn to Rhythm by its great products and stellar team. When not enjoying kale, Jeff is either with his family or training for the Austin marathon.

As the original co-founder of Daily Juice Company in Austin, Texas, which he started in 2003, Keith, a.k.a. K Dub, is the creative force behind Rhythm Superfoods. He brings over 16 years of professional culinary experience in the field of vegetarian, vegan and raw foods and is enthusiastic about and dedicated to creating nutrient-rich and ultra-healthy foods that are both delicious and practical. Keith’s passion for composing and producing music in his free time inspired the “rhythm” behind these superfoods and continues to nurture his excitement in developing the brand. He enjoys being active outdoors and can be found swimming at the local springs on a regular basis.

Allison White, Controller
Allison joined Rhythm Superfoods after an 11-year tenure as the Controller for the University Co-op, a non-profit affiliated with the University of Texas. Her interest in the superfoods industry was sparked by the Co-op's opening of its own healthy foods market. Prior to the Co-op, Allison worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior audit associate. She is a die-hard Longhorn fan earning both a BBA and MPA from The University of Texas at Austin.
