According to the American Heart Association, “Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year, killing approximately one woman every 80 seconds.” Beginning with National Wear Red Day on February 5th, the American Heart Association devotes the entire month to raising awareness about cardiovascular health. So you might be wondering, what role does kale play in your heart health?
